We have been having so much fun this summer. It's amazing how much Ruby has grown since last summer. I keep remembering what she enjoyed last summer compared to now. She understands so much more and is so much bigger it's crazy. We bought her a little swimming cool (as Ruby would say it). I don't know where she got this from. That is how she has always pronounced swimming pool. I crack up every time. She was so giddy with excitement when her dad brought this home, she was shaking watching it fill up. She was playing in it for 3 hours straight the first night. It hasn't really slowed down since. Here are some pics of her fun in the water.
We also took her to Lagoon for the first time. As a mom, seeing your kids enjoy something is the greatest thing in the world. I loved every minute of watching her eyes light up and with excitement, hearing her laughter, and seeing her big smile. Why is EVERYTHING they do so cute when they are yours? Such as: the way she picks out which ammimow (animal) she wants to ride on the merry-go-round, seeing her try and spoon dippin' dots into her mouth while spilling a whole bunch in my lap, noticing her casual smile with her two front teeth sticking out as we spin around on the kid swings, her silent scream when she was so scared on the ladybug that her legs and arms were shaking uncontrolably, her sunglasses hanging 1/2 way down her nose as she slips into the airplane seat and rides it like she is a pro, and seeing her drive away in a car on a track steering the wrong wheel. It was such a great day. A day we will never forget!

I try and enjoy the little things in life right now. They are too precious to forget and and so easy to miss. I'm so happy I have such a cute family and feel so lucky to have this little girl in our lives. Hopefully within the next year or two we can add another little one to the mix. Whether it be doing IVF again or adopting. We will be lucky with whatever we are dealt.

(This happened about 2 minutes into our car ride home)
