We recently had the opportunity to go to Moab with my sister and her family. They are so much fun to be around and I'm so glad we got to go! It was Ruby's first trip to Southern Utah. Unfortunately Stevie had to stay home this time but we will make it up to him another time! It was fun to have Ruby all to myself. (she is a daddy's girl) Hiking is not really hiking with a 2 year old. It's more like you walk 3 feet and they stop to pick up a valuable stick or rock and maybe put a few in their pocket. Then you get another 6 feet by trying to race them. Woo Hoo! But again you stop again because they decided to sit down and swoosh the sand between their fingers and throw it in the air. Sounds annoying to most people but I actually try and enjoy the little things with Ruby. I loved seeing her in the outdoors exploring. Who cares about the arches anyway???
