Wow, what fun Christmas is when you have a kid. Steve and I had so much fun preparing Ruby for Christmas eve and morning. Telling her who Santa is, and what he was going to bring her if she was a good girl, singing Christmas songs, etc.

In fact, the more I told her stories I kind of started feeling like Christmas was a crock haha. Never in my life have I thought about how dumb it is that reindeer could fly. They don't have wings, wide hooves, big ears or anything else to lead you to believe that they could actually fly. How could Santa's sleigh actually hold enough presents for ALL the kids in the whole wide world. How would he ever have enough time to go down each child's chimney and deliver presents and eat cookies and milk? And the little elves? What? I know, I know it is just a fairytale that should be magical. And I will keep it that way as long as I have kids that believe. I'm just sayin...

It just goes to show you that kids are so innocent, they trust you and they really will believe anything you tell them. I should take advantage of that while I can! Here are some pics form the big Christmas celebration.

We also took Ruby sledding for the first time. It was really fun. She was walking along the snow with my saying "don't hate da snow"

She was really flying down this slide. She would shoot off the bottom and land in a pile of snow. She LOVED it as you can see. It was hilarious!




We also celebrated Ruby turning 2 years old. I can't believe what a big girl she is! She is the light of our lives. She makes so much laughter in our house. She is truly amazing and I can't wait to see what this next year brings.

She is obsessed with walking in the snow. Seriously, how cute is she all bundled up? She made her first snow angel all by herself.
