I decided to take on more than I could handle...of course. Laura, Whitney and I threw a shower for Candace. The most anticipated arrival of a baby ever to exist...except for my Ruby Jane of course. So in other words, this had to be fabulous - so I wanted to make an awesome cake, not really knowing how to do it. My bff Laura was so kind to help me into the wee hours of the night making this thing. We actually had a pretty good time goofing off with crisco and marshmelows. I think Steve got a little worried after a while because we dorking out so much. Here is the final product. I turned out pretty good. I think I'm going to do one again real soon.


The shower turned out awesome. She got some really good stuff and tons of people came. Our/her friends are so awesome and fun. It was perfect weather and a perfect shower for my perfect Candace. I can not wait to meet my future son-in-law.
