2 weeks of crazy!

These past 2 weeks have been adventurous, exciting, new, relaxing, sickening, fun, tiring, speedy, worry-some, and sad. How many more emotions can you possible cram into a couple of weeks? I never thought I could have that many, but it happened.

First was Bear Lake. It was Ruby's dream come true. Lots of water (which she called "whimming cool"), and slides. Ruby says "cited!" when she is excited and believe me, we heard that a lot while we were there! She loved going fast on the boat and watching her mom water ski in the water. As you can see in the picture, she wasn't very comfortable of the life vest, but after we powered up the boat, she was cool with it - The first time we stopped to have someone ski, Ruby with her big squinting eyes looked up at her daddy and quietly said "den?" (again?)

You can't tell by these pictures, but almost every person on this trip got the 12 hour flu. It was horrible, but comical by the end. Each day it would be a mystery when I woke up, wondering "who had it last night?" People were even hacking in the kitchen sink, because all the bathrooms were taken! Ha Ha!

Big bash SK8 party was next. It turned out really awesome this year. A lot of stress and preparation always goes into it but it is worth it! No unforeseen craziness happened which was a miracle!

The Seely family stayed with us for a whole week and it was so much fun. How great is this shot? Watson will despise this picture one day!

Next was having to put our poor sweet doggie Ollie to rest. It was probably the hardest thing we have ever had to do. I love you buddy and you will always be with us in our home, hearts, on our walks, in our way, and in our dreams. Our lives will never be the same without you. This is a picture of his last day with us -

We also went on an adventurous hike a few days ago. It was a much needed distraction from the sadness at home. Ruby did so great. She only fell twice and after a little crying, she was good to go. We saw chipmunks and lots of flowers. We didn't quite make it to our lake destination, but it was fun anyway.

Now our house is quiet and I can't decide if it is nice or not - we miss you O-face, and we miss you already Jason, Jen, and Watsauce!
